These last days of December I’ve been spending a lot of time. Reading randomly from random books. Playing Halo. Walking around the same five by five block radius. Watching ten minutes of movies on netflix instant. Masturbating and napping. Flipping on the TV and just staring at whatever is on. Clicking through websites and stopping to look at things I never look at — dumb youtube videos, long emo diatribes, twitter feeds. Listening to itunes on random. Talking on the phone in my rocking chair. Bullshitting with my sister. Hanging clothes in my closet. Drinking white wine with three raspberries. Smiling at strangers. Daydreaming about a better career, a cooler version of me, and the touch of hotter boys. These last days of December I’ve been wondering what the new year will bring.
